The number of signs and sign sizes were reduced and the lighting was fully shielded. What's something you've you've noticed changing in Williston? Take a picture and tag it #willistonplans and follow the tag to see the pictures others take!

Welcome!

Welcome to the blog for the Williston, Vermont Planning Department. We've set up this blog along with some other social media accounts (see links below) in the hopes that it will help people follow along with and participate in the drafting and adoption of the 2016 Williston Comprehensive Plan (Town Plan). We are excited to get to work on the Town Plan and hope that our foray into the online world is helpful.

We've published the following statement about our online presence on our website.  In short, we'll mostly be using social media for announcements. While we'll log comments, we may not respond to them through these accounts. Finally, we've set all of this up so that the same information will go out to each account. You don't have to follow all of them to stay in the know!

Thanks for reading and we look forward to joining you on this new adventure.

The Williston Planning Department maintains a presence on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and Blogger as a service to the public with the primary goal of providing notice about available information and upcoming events. Williston Planning will provide updates via the blog, which will also be noted on Twitter and Facebook. Williston Planning may also use its Instagram account for short posts- these will also show up on the blog, Facebook, and Twitter.

Comments made by members of the public on these accounts will be logged by staff, but may not always generate a response. Staff reserves the right to moderate comments with obscene, inflammatory, or off-topic content.

Members of the public are always encouraged to attend public meetings and to contact staff with any questions they have. The Williston Planning staff may be reached by email, or by phone at 802-878-6704 or in person between the hours of 8:00 AM and 4:30PM, Monday through Friday.
