Residents of
Williston and beyond are invited to help the town’s planning and zoning staff
kick off the 2016 Williston Village
Master Plan process. This new Master
Plan will help the town set priorities for the Village. What should
Williston Village look like in 20, or even 50 years? How is traffic in the
Village? Should the town encourage businesses to locate in the Village? If so,
which ones, and where? How could the town ensure that historic buildings in the
Village are maintained? What about new development? What should it look like? We
want to hear from you!
We’ll get
started with an open house in the Town Hall Annex on Tuesday, May 3rd
through Friday, May 6th from 10AM-6PM and on Saturday, May 7 from 8AM to 12PM.
We will provide refreshments and several interactive displays about the
Village. The open house also coincides with Green-Up Day. We have bags
available and hope that when you come to pick them up you’ll also give us your
ideas about the Village.
For anybody
who wants to get started right away, a survey is available now at the Town Hall
Annex and on the town’s website at goo.gl/u2Hju9. We will also be mailing the survey to
residents in the Village and beyond. After the open house, we’ll put together
everything we’ve heard and present it back to the community over the summer.
